Organising events, especially for corporate dinner and dance parties, is not that easy. There are many themes and options which are available that may sometimes be awesome.
This problem seems to be universal especially in countries like Singapore or Malaysia where due to international multi-cultural ethnic profiles.

These tips are based on some of my experience from the local events and entertainment industry.
Keep in mind the budget
Yes! This is one of the most common issues we all come across. I call it “granddaddy of all!”
Few things which you need to consider before you arrange an event – are you been given a budget which is luxurious so that every detail have been given equal importance or are you given budget which is not that high?
The reasons why I say this is there are some dance and dinner themes which are more costly to implement as compared to other themes.
If you have a tight budget then try to make things simple, something that won’t cross your budget and also worth fun for others.
The second thing which you should consider is
– Have you hired staff that is desperate to perform in the events which would help you bear the cost of some entertainers?
– Or if you have handsome budget then hire professional emcee who can take up the charge of entire event?
Be practical! Miracles don’t happen every day.
The quality is something which requires more attention, and more attention means more spending. Always make up a list which you feel should be given priority.
Entertain the guests
No doubt they are the one who should be given more attention. If your guests are satisfied then, the event will be successful.
So ask yourself a question before choosing the theme for the event.
Questions like what sort of profile do they belong to?
Profile like blue or white collar or both? Do they love to dress up to certain theme?
Do they love to dance to certain music or Latin ballroom theme like Hot Hot Hot, Salsa and Tropicano?
Many more questions like those which you need to ask yourself before taking up an event.
Your main motto should be entertaining the guests.
Choosing the venues
Venues also play a significant role in the event. Décor always plays an important role but often put the burden in your pocket unless there are lots to play, and the sky is the limit. Do not disturb the feel of the venue.
For instance, if the venue is of high-class with decorative chandeliers then there is no question to have jungle safari theme instead go something for Glitziness and Charm or A Night with Stars.
