1. Be prepared and be punctual
– write your introductions and familiarise the list of notices and policies in the event. You must be sensitive to time, and you must orient yourself to the venue well.
2. Dress accordingly
– you must also dress about the event’s motif and purpose.
3. Greet the visitors and guests
– as the emcee; you are the spokesperson representative, and you must welcome them warmly and with enthusiasm. You must introduce yourself to the guests to establish the connection. Let them feel the fun that they must expect in the event.
4. Be concise and direct to the point
– generally, avoid hyperbole, stereotypes and annotations on personal relations and personal appearance. Be convinced to introduce each participant/speaker/performer with equal enthusiasm.

7. Be appreciative and be brief
– in closing the program, briefly thank everybody (speakers, organisers, judges, audience, etc.). You must also give short closing announcements that are essential and wish them well on their way.
